Big Sky Lodges operate three of the most popular small properties in Namibia.

Erongo Wilderness Lodge offers an introduction to the volcanic beauty of the Erongo Mountains, outstanding birding, Bushman rock art and an ideal walking habitat. This is a very different experience to that offered at most Namibian Lodges.

Etendeka Mountain Camp is an award winning eco property in the heart of the beautifully rugged Damaraland. The private concession is home to numerous species of game including black rhino, desert elephant, lion, cheetah and mountain zebra. The Camp epitomises a slow paced wilderness experience, days spent walking and on gamedrives, the evenings around the campfire.

The Olive Grove Guesthouse is a small, upmarket establishment in a quiet area of Windhoek. The open-air lounge, spa bath, tranquil garden and plunge pool help make the Olive Grove and Windhoek a holiday highlight. The luxurious new Garden Suite is simply the best room in Windhoek.

Olive Grove - Windhoek

A small, upmarket accommodation establishment situated close to the Windhoek city centre in a quiet, peaceful area.

Each room has a large veranda with tables and chairs for al fresco dining. The open-air lounge, spa bath, plunge pool and tranquil garden all invite the visitor to unwind and relax under Namibia’s open skies.

Our Wellness Room offers a selection of professional services to help guests relax and de-stress after a long flight or for just the perfect end to an adventurous holiday.

Erongo Wilderness Lodge:

The lounge and restaurant are housed in a partially open, thatched building, which has a fireplace at its centre for colder winter nights. There is an outside deck, or veranda, with views of the sunset and the floodlit waterhole. A fully stocked bar caters for all tastes, while the wine list is a selection of lesser known, quality estates with an emphasis on originality. Wine prices range from N$ 40.00 to N$ 220.00. Dinner is served as a 'plated' meal over 3 courses, with a different set menu each evening. Most specific dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice. Our greatest assets in this department are our two highly trained and innovative chefs.

Travelling from the airport:

From the international airport, travel towards Windhoek on Sam Nujoma Drive. When arriving into ‘Klein Windhoek’ on Sam Nujoma Drive from the airport look out for the second set of traffic lights (You should see a fuel station and a small shopping centre on the corner). Turn right at these traffic lights into Nelson Mandela Avenue. Travel along Nelson Mandela Avenue and turn left into Schanzen Road. Towards the top of the hill on Schanzen Road, turn sharp right into Promenaden Road. Turn ‘first right’ into Ngami Street and you will see Olive Grove Guesthouse on the corner of Promenaden Road and Ngami Street. (Entrance in Ngami Street)
